The Lobes of the Brain and the Cerebellum
Study this picture of a labeled brain before you test yourself below!
- What are the functions of the different lobes?
- What are the functions of the cerebellum?
Remember!
- The Frontal lobe is in the front! It is in charge of higher-order processing.
- The Occipital lobe is opposite it's function (the eyes & vision).
- The Parietal lobe is like a parent, watching over you. It is involved in sensing and movement.
- The Temporal lobe is ... well, make up your own mneumonic! It is important for memory and speech.
- and the cerebellum is on the bottom sticking out. It is important for movement, motor control, and muscle memory.
Mini-Quiz!
